Research interests
Sophie joined the team in 2017, having completed her PhD at Supagro (Montpellier) and a post-doc at the Center for Genomics and Systems Biology at NYU (NY, USA). She is interested in decoding the molecular mechanisms involved in plant tolerance to abiotic stress, with a particular interest in drought, heat, nutrition and nitrogen assimilation. The architecture of coffee root system and plasticity are central to her research, within the framework of the BOLERO project.Ongoing fundings and projects
