Research interests
With a Master's degree in Plant biology and Biotechnologies, Jean-Rémy has developed an expertise in molecular biology technics. These various experiences led him to specialize in in vitro culture technologies for several plants, their transformation and genome editing for functional validation of candidate genes. Since october 2022, he joins the CIRAD in Montpellier to support the COFFEEADAPT and F2F teams in their differents projects involving functional genomic activities.Ongoing fundings and projects
- BOLERO (2022-2026): European project proposing to create resilient rootstock varieties for fruit tree crops to cope with climate change threats. (WP1 = functional analysis of coffee genes involved in root architecture)
